It's sending mixed signals and at the current moment a lot is unclear. It's like a glass half full, glass half empty situation. On the positive side, the job numbers are the best since 1998. This signals strength. The housing economy is red hot; look at home-builder earnings. Although housing represents only 10% of the economy, the parts that come with it are seeing a good time.
