Products Four companies receive group awards By IE Staff | November 09, 2017 11:15 Four asset management companies were honoured with group awards at the 2017 Lipper Fund Awards in Toronto on Wednesday night. The awards recognize mutual funds and ETFs that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. In addition, the program recognizes fund families with high average scores for all funds within a particular asset class or overall. Toronto-based Canoe Financial LP was named best bond mutual fund group and best overall mutual fund group in Canada. Canoe received two awards for various individual mutual funds. Calgary-based Mawer Investment Management Ltd. was named best equity mutual fund group and best mixed assets mutual fund group.
