Susquehanna updates on early 2018 beer trendsBeer sales in the U.S. continue to show an improved trend, according to Susquehanna analyst Pablo Zuanic.Volume was up 4% over the last four-week tracking period ending Jan. 14 to top the -1% pace shown for the first three months of 2017 and level with the rise in Q4.Price/mix was up 1.6% for the period.Zuanic notes that Constellation Brands (NYSE:STZ) and Boston Beer (NYSE:SAM) took some market share from Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD) and Molson Coors Brewing (NYSE:TAP) for the early part of 2018.Click to subscribe to real-time analytics on BUDNow read:Constellation Brands: Brewing A Great Future In An Aged Market »
