DALLAS, Texas, March 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Southcross Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE:SXE) (“Southcross,” the “Partnership” or “SXE”) today announced fourth quarter 2017 financial and operating results. Southcross’ net loss was $17.3 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2017, compared to a loss of $39.5 million for the same period in the prior year and a loss of $19.1 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2017. Adjusted EBITDA (as defined below) was $17.3 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2017, compared to $18.4 million for the same period in the prior year and $16.8 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2017. Adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter was higher than the prior quarter due to higher South Texas gathering volumes and improved NGL margins as the third quarter was unfavorably impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
