Axon’s cloud business is extremely profitable and growing quickly as it becomes a necessary compliment to the company’s hardware and creates high switching costs and barriers to entry. Margins are increasing and in the most recent quarter were up 750 basis points to 62.6%, while earnings per share has increased over 300% from $0.14 in Q1 to $0.47. A long runway of growth lies ahead for this market leader with a large unserved market of customers.
