DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Former United States Securities and Exchange Commission attorney Willie Briscoe is investigating potential claims against the Board of Directors of Almost Family, Inc. (“Almost Family”) (NasdaqGS: AFAM) concerning the acquisition by LHC Group, Inc. (NasdaqGS: LHCG). Under the terms of the agreement, valued at approximately $868 million, Almost Family shareholders will only receive 0.9150 shares of LHC Group share owned. Based on the closing price of LHC Group before the deal was announced, the consideration is valued at approximately $60.87 per share, which is significantly lower than at least one analyst’s estimated value of $73.00.
