York University student James Jung was the winner of the UIC stock picking competition with a buy recommendation for PlayAGS. James Jung Triple major James Jung of York University in Toronto took home the top prize at the Engage Undergraduate Investment Conference stock pitch competition this weekend. Held at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, the competition is the largest of its kind for undergraduates in the United States. Jung's pick was PlayAGS (AGS), a Las Vegas-based company that supplies gaming machines and systems to casinos, which he gave a strong buy recommendation and a price target of $40. The stock is currently trading around $28. Solo presenter Jung faced teams from 30 universities from the United States and Canada whose recommendations were reviewed by a panel of industry experts.
