Commerce chief Wilbur Ross says he'll sell all his equity holdings: report U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said late Thursday he would sell all his equity holdings, according to a report by Bloomberg News . In a statement, Ross said he has made "inadvertent errors" in completing his stock sales as required by his ethics agreement, Bloomberg reported. He said he'll now sell all his equity holdings to "maintain the public trust," according to Bloomberg. The billionaire investor has been criticized for some of his stock sales while serving in the Trump administration, including shorting stock in a shipping company with Russian government ties and selling Air Lease stock well after he had promised to divest his holdings.
