Related news Eli Lilly ( LLY ) will be "aggressive" in marketing its migraine prevention CGRP antibody, one analyst said Friday, but another says Teva Pharmaceutical ( TEVA ) will have the advantage. Pharmaceutical companies Lilly and Teva grabbed approval within two weeks of each other for migraine prevention drugs. They followed Amgen ( AMGN ), which gained its approval in May. All three drugs are CGRP antibodies, which block a component associated with migraines . All three companies have free-drug programs. Teva offers 16 months of free CGRP drug while patients seek insurance coverage. Amgen and Lilly both offer up to a year, with Amgen giving everyone two months free, Evercore analyst Umer Raffat said. The three drugs "are priced at parity," he said in a note to clients. But "Teva appears to have a longer free-drug program vs. Amgen."
