American Midstream And Southcross Energy Divorce: The FalloutSummarySouthcross Energy has terminated the merger agreement with American Midstream.Constant delays and an apparent unwillingness to close despite management's view that alternate financing paths were available bogged down the deal.The recent distribution cut surely had something to do with it: Southcross sponsors saw the value of the deal collapse after the cut.Tops and bottoms are processes, not events.
