SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Aug. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- American Outdoor Brands Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: AOBC), one of the world's leading providers of firearms and quality products for the shooting, hunting, and rugged outdoor enthusiast, today announced financial results for the first quarter fiscal 2019, ended July 31, 2018. First Quarter Fiscal 2019 Financial HighlightsQuarterly net sales were $138.8 million compared with $129.0 million for the first quarter last year, an increase of 7.6%. Gross margin for the quarter was 37.8% compared with 31.5% for the first quarter last year. Quarterly GAAP net income was $7.6 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $2.2 million, or $(0.04) per diluted share, for the comparable quarter last year. Quarterly Non-GAAP net income was $11.7 million, or $0.21 per diluted share, compared with $1.2 million, or $0.02 per diluted share, for the comparable quarter last year.
