EVANSTON, Ill., Dec. 09, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aptinyx Inc. (NASDAQ: APTX), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing transformative therapies for the treatment of brain and nervous system disorders, today announced a presentation highlighting preclinical data on its novel NMDA receptor modulator, NYX-783. The data exhibit robust effects of NYX-783 on conditioned fear in PTSD models and on alcohol consumption in a stress-induced alcohol seeking model. The studies were conducted in collaboration with the Medical University of South Carolina and Northwestern University.
