PASADENA, Calif., March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. ("Alexandria" or the "Company") (NYSE: ARE) today announced that it is commencing an underwritten public offering, subject to market conditions, of three tranches of senior notes. Two of the tranches will be new issues of securities, while one tranche will become part of the same series as its outstanding 4.000% senior notes due 2024, of which $450 million aggregate principal amount was originally issued on June 21, 2018. Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. will act as joint book-running managers in connection with the public offering. The notes will be unsecured obligations of the Company and fully and unconditionally guaranteed by Alexandria Real Estate Equities, L.P., an indirectly 100% owned subsidiary of the Company.The net proceeds from two tranches in this offering will be used to fund, in whole or in par
