El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Or is it “Yosemite National Park, brought to you by Delaware North”? If you’ve been following the dispute over the trademark rights associated with Yosemite National Park, you may be aware that as of Tuesday, such historic names as the Ahwahnee Hotel and Curry Village are scheduled to be changed. That’s because the last concessionaire, Delaware North, has demanded compensation for turning them over to the new concessionaire, Aramark, which takes over Tuesday. No evident progress has been made in the lawsuit Delaware North brought against the U.S. government over the matter. Even though the former has said that it would have no objections to Aramark’s continued use of the names pending a settlement, the U.S. Parks Service, which operates the park, has indicated that it’s safer, legally, to take them down for now. No new filings have been made in the federal lawsuit since Feb. 11. As I write, no resolution has emerged. [UPDATE: Delaware North said M
