With A ‘Starcraft’ Shooter Canceled, The State Of Blizzard Is Concerning Practically all the gaming news out this week has to do with leaks or reveals ahead of E3, but that changed yesterday when Kotaku’s Jason Schreier Blizzard is killing a game that almost no one knew even existed. After working on it for two years, Blizzard has axed a Starcraft Overwatch Battlefield Diablo 4 Overwatch 2 Both Activision and Blizzard have been in a very strange place the last few years, with Blizzard in particular bearing the brunt of both fan criticism and pressure from Activision to produce, well, anything. Blizzard has not made a new game in three years now, when for a long while now, they’d have something out every other year at least.
