VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Auryn Resources Inc. (TSX:AUG) (NYSE American:AUG) (“Auryn” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce drill results from its initial five drill holes at the Huilacollo oxide gold project in southern Peru. Only two conceptual targets adjacent to the existing mineralization were drilled in a short 1,500 meter program completed prior to the rainy season. Numerous targets across the property remain untested. Illustrates the position of the first 5 drill holes of the planned 20 drill hole program in the northern portion of the Huilacollo project. Drill holes 17-HUI-002 and 17-HUI-004 successfully expanded the known mineralization toward the northwest by 100 meters within the silica – alunite zone.
