FOUNTAIN INN, S.C., Oct. 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced electronic components and interconnect, sensor, control, and antenna solutions, introduced new 0805-case BP Series multilayer, integrated thin film (ITF) band-pass filters. Designed for broad compatibility with a wide range of high-frequency wireless applications, including mobile communications systems, satellite TV receivers, GPSs, vehicle-locating systems, and wireless LANs, the series is available in five frequency bands spanning 1,308MHz to 4,320MHz with 50O characteristic impedance, and is rated for 5W continuous power, and operating temperatures spanning -40°C to +85°C. The new surface-mount band-pass filters also exhibit low insertion loss and sharp roll-off, delivering excellent high-frequency performance in an ultraminiature, low-profile case measuring just 2.03mm x 1.55mm x 0.8mm (±0.1mm), and are ruggedly constructed and packaged on tape and reel for rel
