Bed Bath & Beyond: A Gem For Patient Investors Good investment opportunities in stocks often arrive when management's long-term orientation and investors' short-term orientation create downward pressure in the price of the stock. While a company may be looking stupid in the short term, it often is sacrificing short-term gains for long-term value creation. Bed Bath & Beyond ( BBBY Over the past couple of years, BBBY stock has traded down to $15 today from a high of $80/share in early 2015. Thanks to a combination of slowing sales growth, overvaluation, and increasing COGS and SG&A costs. These last few years have certainly been frustrating for investors.
