The markets’ insatiable bull run continued on Tuesday, with major indexes tacking on more to Monday’s record-setting gains.

Often, NewsQuantified identified plays contrary to prevailing market sentiment. Today, however, our Top Performers are in line with the recent long-bias of the markets.

Explosive long-plays easily trounced market averages as investors sought tangible earnings to justify the pace of the bull market.

1.    Celsion (CLSN): stock value more than doubles after clinical trial news.

NewsQuantified manages to find great, average-beating plays in every market environment. But CLSN’s gains on Tuesday, over 150%, were stunning even by our standards.

Celsion is an oncology drug development company. On Tuesday, they announced final clinical and translational research data for a new therapeutic course developed for ovarian cancer, using its GEN-1 DNA-based immunotherapy approach. The treatment achieved 100% Disease Control, and investors promptly began piling into the pharma stock.

2.    Western Capital Resources (WCRS): Up sharply after the sale of a subsidiary.

WCRS was closing in on 20% gains at the time of this writing after announcing the sale of a subsidiary company. They will sell off AlphaGraphics, Inc. to US Business Holdings Inc., an affiliate of MBE WorldWide. AlphaGraphics is a printing and business design services franchise.

WCRS receives  $61,500,000 in the deal, strengthening its balance sheet as it prepares to pursue strategic acquisitions of its own. It is moving away from the franchising business.

Western Capital Resources (WCRS) in an “industry-agnostic” holding company based in Nebraska.

3.    Mobi 724 Global Solutions (MOBIF):

MOBIF is a  FinTech firm offering integrated EMV payment, Card-Linked Offers, Digital Marketing and other consumer-facing financial service management offerings. They announced a major deal with VISA on Tuesday, sending their stock to solid 8% gains on the session.

Mobi will provide a series of customer loyalty services, with associated digital marketing efforts, for VISA in Latin America and the Caribbean.
