Summary I last covered this stock in January and the stock has since seen another major run-up, reaching a 52-week high of $36.45 per share. While I have previously discussed the state of the fundamentals over at Brooks Automation (NASDAQ: BRKS ), I was particularly interested in recent pricing trends for both the stock price as well as the sector as a whole. The stock is expensive, but it is clear that the sector is continuing to do well, and Brooks continues to carve out its niche without compromising its fundamentals. Since President Trump’s decision to begin raising tariffs on US allies and trading partners, it is clear that many industrial segments were hurt by negative investor sentiment and increased volatility. Over the last 3 months, however, semiconductor stocks have been able to hold onto price gains despite volatility.
