GREAT NECK, N.Y., Sept. 12, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BRT Apartments Corp. (NYSE:BRT) announced that its Board of Directors initiated and declared a quarterly dividend on the Company’s common stock of $0.18 per share. The dividend is payable October 4, 2017 to stockholders of record on September 25, 2017. The Board of Directors also renewed, for two years beginning October 1, 2017, the Company’s stock buyback plan, which authorizes the Company to repurchase up to $5 million of common stock. Jeffrey A. Gould, President and Chief Executive Officer stated, “Given the Company’s successful repositioning as a multi-family REIT, the Board of Directors declared a dividend and renewed its stock buyback program. Supported by strong cash flow from operations and year-over-year growth in adjusted funds from operations per share, the Company initiated a quarterly dividend program and, as appropriate, will continue to repurchase stock”.
