MEG Energy Is Running On Fumes Summary Funds flow from operations were a woeful C$180 million in 2018. Funds flow from operations was not a lot better the previous fiscal year. The C$3.7 billion of debt is not properly serviced by the cash flow. The decision to not accept the Husky offer sent the shares of MEG Energy crashing. There are probably less risky alternatives elsewhere. This is a situation for well trained and disciplined traders only.
