EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., March 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CHF Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHFS) announced today the launch of a new educational program, “Facing the Facts About Fluid Overload,” designed to inform providers about an alternative ultrafiltration therapy for heart failure patients with fluid overload who have failed diuretic therapy. "Intravenous diuretics have been the standard of care for heart failure patients with fluid overload since the 1950s1,2, but data demonstrates that 68 percent of patients experience a less than optimal response, and approximately 40 percent are resistant to diuretic therapy3.
