Chesapeake Energy's stock surges on heavy volume toward best 7-day run in over 2 years Shares of Chesapeake Energy Corp. CHK, +4.58% charged up 5.1% very active afternoon trade Thursday, putting them on track to extend their win streak to seven sessions and to close at a four-month high.
