NORWELL, Mass. (PRWEB) September 19, 2018 In recent years, the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey has detected PFOS and PFOA, a family of chemicals associated with non-stick cookware coatings, in the blood of 95 percent of the population. A new line of cookware, DiamoTech™, eliminates such chemicals, which are associated with serious health risks, from its manufacturing process. Made from aluminum and coated with diamond-infused ceramic, DiamoTech provides superior non-stick cooking performance without the dangers associated with Teflon. According to the American Cancer Society, "Some… studies have suggested an increased risk of testicular cancer with increased PFOA exposure." Other studies "have also suggested possible links to kidney cancer and thyroid cancer, but the increases in risk have been small."
