Company Announces First Half Cash Dividend of $0.06 Per Share MACAO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Deswell Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:DSWL) today announced its unaudited financial results for the first six months of fiscal 2019, ended September 30, 2018. Net sales for the six months ended September 30, 2018 were $34.8 million, an increase of 16.9% compared to net sales of $29.8 million for the six months ended September 30, 2017. Net sales decreased by 1% to $13.6 million in the plastic segment and increased by 32.4% to $21.2 million in the Company’s electronic segment. Total gross margin decreased to 13.8% of net sales during the six months ended September 30, 2018, as compared to 19.6% of net sales in the same period last year.
