SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- 8x8, Inc. (NYSE: EGHT) today announced the pricing of $250.0 million aggregate principal amount of 0.50% convertible senior notes due 2024 (the “notes”) in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to an exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”). The principal amount of the offering was increased from the previously announced offering size of $200.0 million. 8x8 granted the initial purchasers of the notes a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $37.5 million aggregate principal amount of notes on the same terms and conditions. The sale of the notes is scheduled to close on February 19, 2019, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. 8x8 estimates that the net proceeds from this offering will be approximately $242.2 million, after deducting the initial purchasers’
