WAYNE, Pa., July 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Egalet Corporation (Nasdaq: EGLT) ("Egalet" or the "Company"), a fully integrated specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing and marketing innovative treatments for pain and other conditions, announced today that it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase shares of common stock in an underwritten public offering. In connection with this offering, Egalet expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase additional shares of common stock and warrants, equal to up to 15% of the number of securities sold in the offering. The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
