IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Endologix, Inc. (NASDAQ:ELGX), a developer and marketer of innovative treatments for aortic disorders, today announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018. The Company reported global revenue of $44.7 million in the second quarter of 2018, a decrease of 7.9% from $48.6 million in the second quarter of 2017, as strong growth in AFX® sales in Japan and Ovation® sales in the U.S. were offset by lower U.S. sales of AFX®, and softness in the Latin American market. Gross profit of $29.6 million in the second quarter represented gross margin of 66.2%. Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP, defined below) loss totaled $9.3 million for the second quarter of 2018.
