CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/12/17 -- Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB)(NYSE:ENB) (Enbridge or the Company) announced today the early tender results of the previously announced cash tender offer (the Maximum Tender Offer) by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Spectra Energy Capital, LLC (Spectra Capital) to purchase up to an aggregate principal amount of US$600,000,000 (the Aggregate Maximum Repurchase Amount) of the following series of notes issued by Spectra Capital (the Notes): 7.50% senior unsecured notes due 2038; 6.75% senior unsecured notes due 2032; 6.75% senior unsecured notes due 2018; 6.20% senior unsecured notes due 2018; 5.65% senior unsecured notes due 2020; and 3.30% senior unsecured notes due 2023. The Company also announced that it has increased the Aggregate Maximum Repurchase Amount to US$760,927,000 in connection with the Maximum Tender Offer
