Related news Endo International ( ENDP ) stock crashed Thursday as the generic drugmaker reportedly said it plans to launch its cellulite treatment in 2020. The drop came even though Endo earnings beat analyst expectations. The results from two Phase 3 studies of the cellulite treatment failed to impress analysts. In one study, 7.6% of patients showed a highly significant improvement in the appearance of cellulite. In the other study, only 5.6% of patients met the same mark. Although the results support Food and Drug Administration approval, Mizuho analyst Irina Koffler noted the responses in the late-stage studies were well below the 10.6% mark set in an earlier test. "We were expecting stronger results," she said in a note to clients. Still, Endo said on the post-earnings conference call with analysts that it plans to submit an application to the FDA for approval in the second half of 2019, according to Reuters .
