DEER PARK, Ill., Oct. 14, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eton Pharmaceuticals, Inc (Nasdaq: ETON), a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative treatments for rare pediatric diseases, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 2,800,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $7.00 per share, for gross proceeds of $19.6 million. The Company has also granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase, at the same price per share as the underwriters paid for the initial shares, an additional 420,000 shares to cover over-allotments in connection with the offering, which if exercised in full would increase the gross proceeds to $22.5 million. The offering is expected to close on or about October 16, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.Eton Pharmaceuticals intends to use the net proceeds from the offering primarily for general corporate purposes, which may include research and development activities,
