The reaction to my last article on Ford Motor Company ( F ) was controversial - to put it mildly. Essentially, I had made the argument that there does not exist a bullish case for the stock at this point in time. The reasons I cited in defense of this view included: Possibility that truck sales in North America are peaking Continually weak car sales in the Chinese market Falling earnings A significant portion of readers disagreed with my views, with comments including: Source: Previous Article on Seeking Alpha These comments got me questioning my prior assumptions. Even with the weakness that we have been seeing in sales, one can make the argument that Ford is so cheap at this point, that it would make sense to hold the stock for the high dividend yield of 7.03%, and see significant gains when (and if) the stock finally does rebound. Valuation is clearly a key consideration in this regard, and I therefore decided to attempt to value F
