General Motors spotted the opportunity and rushed into the space with its Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon midsize pickup models – to great sales success. Ford introduced the 2019 Ranger pickup truck at the 2018 North American International Auto Show on Sunday. Ford Motor Chalk up a win for GM, which now bills itself as the “biggest” maker of pickup trucks in the world, a parry to Ford’s boast of being the producer of the No.1 pickup model in the world, its F Series full-size pickup.
