HOUSTON, May 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:GNBC) (the "Company"), announced today the pricing of a public offering by certain of the Company's shareholders (the "Selling Shareholders") of 2,000,000 shares of its common stock, at a public offering price of $22.80 per share. The offering consists entirely of secondary shares to be sold by the Selling Shareholders. The Company will not receive any of the proceeds from the shares sold in the offering. In connection with the offering, the Selling Shareholders have granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 300,000 additional shares of the Company's common stock at the public offering price per share, less underwriting discounts. The offering is expected to close on May 29, 2018, subject to customary closing conditions. Barclays is acting as sole underwriter for the offering. The offering is being made pursuant to the Company's effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities
