NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Law Offices of Vincent Wong are investigating the Board of Directors of Hardinge Inc. (NASDAQ:HDNG) for possible breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations of state law in connection with the sale of the Company to Privet Fund Management LLC. Under the terms of the deal, Hardinge shareholders will receive $18.50 for each share of Hardinge stock they own. The investigation concerns whether the Hardinge Board of Directors breached their fiduciary duties to Hardinge stockholders by failing to adequately shop the Company before entering into this transaction and whether Privet Fund Management LLC is underpaying for Hardinge shares, thus unlawfully harming Hardinge stockholders.
