Huami's $110M IPO: Common-Sense CautionsSummaryHuami, the Chinese maker of fitness trackers and smartwatches, went public in a $110 million IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.The company is an overseas competitor to Fitbit, though it currently has no U.S. sales.Interestingly, all of its sales are through larger Chinese unicorn Xiaomi, which also controls a good portion of the company.Huami's IPO has more or less been viewed as a testing of the waters for Xiaomi to do a U.S. listing.
