SAN DIEGO, July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareholder rights law firm Johnson & Weaver, LLP (J&W) has launched an investigation into whether the board members of HSN, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSNI) breached their fiduciary duties in connection with the proposed sale of the Company to QVC parent company Liberty Interactive Corporation (NASDAQ: QVCA). HSN operates as an interactive multi-channel retailer in the United States. It operates through two segments, HSN and Cornerstone. On July 6, 2017, HSN announced it had signed a definitive merger agreement with Liberty Interactive. Under the terms of the agreement, HSN shareholders will receive fixed consideration of 1.65 shares of Series A QVC Group common stock for every share of HSN common stock.
