Sensex rises as weak rupee boosts IT stocks | Reuters 3 Min Read (Reuters) - Indian shares edged higher on Friday, driven by IT stocks such as Infosys Ltd and HCL Technologies Ltd, as the rupee hit an all-time low, while investors awaited the outcome of a no-confidence motion against the government.
