'Chinese Netflix' iQiyi stock rises after earnings miss An earlier version of this article stated iQiyi losses beat Wall Street estimates. They did not. The story has been updated. Shares of iQiyi Inc. IQ, +0.22% the Netflix of China, rose more than 6% in the extended session Tuesday after the company missed Wall Street earnings expectations. The company reported second-quarter net losses of $316.9 million, or 45 cents a share. Revenue rose 51% to $932.5 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated losses of 33 cents a share on revenue of $933 million. The company said it expects third-quarter sales of $985.3 million to $1.03 billion; analysts model sales of $1.04 billion. Since iQiyi went public the stock has gained 78%, with the S&P 500 index SPX, -0.10% rising 6.6% in the same priod. IQiyi stock closed up 4.15% to $32.02 in regular trading.
