AUSTIN, Texas, July 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jones Energy, Inc. (NYSE:JONE) (“Jones Energy” or “the Company”) today announced that the Audit Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors selected Grant Thornton LLP to serve as the Company’s new independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018. Mr. Robert Brooks, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, commented, “We chose Grant Thornton for their comprehensive oil and gas experience and we are confident they can provide ample resources to ensure reliable and consistent service in the years to come.
