VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 01, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lithium Americas Corp. (TSX: LAC) (NYSE: LAC) (“Lithium Americas” or the “Company”) today announced that it has priced its previously announced offering of US$225,000,000 aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2027 (the “ Notes ” and the “ Offering ”). The Company has granted the initial purchasers an over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional US$33,750,000 aggregate principal amount of Notes, exercisable in whole or in part at any time until 30 days after the pricing of the Offering. Advertisement Article content The Notes will be unsecured and will accrue interest payable semi-annually in arrears at a rate of 1.75% per annum on January 15 and July 15 of each year, beginning on July 15, 2022.
