FTSE ekes out tentative gains ahead of EU summit | Reuters 4 Min Read LONDON (Reuters) - UK shares were slightly higher on Friday as financial stocks led the gains, but the blue-chip market was on track for its second straight weekly loss as worries about Brexit and slowing corporate earnings have continued to weigh. The FTSE 100 .FTSE was up 0.3 percent at 0933 GMT amid lacklustre volumes as the United States celebrated Thanksgiving, while the FTSE 250 .FTMC was 0.2 pct higher, set for its third straight week in the red.
