First Derivatives CEO Brian Conlon diagnosed with cancer, will remain in role - Reuters 1 Min Read May 17 (Reuters) - Software and consulting company First Derivatives Plc said on Friday that founder and Chief Executive Officer Brian Conlon was diagnosed with cancer, but he would remain in the role during ongoing weekly treatment, which includes chemotherapy. First Derivatives, whose clients include JPMorgan, Lloyds Banking Group, Morgan Stanley and UBS , said Conlon’s treatment was expected to last a number of months. Chairman Seamus Keating will provide additional executive and governance support, First Derivatives said. Conlon founded First Derivatives in 1996 and has led the company ever since.
