(Nasdaq: NTRP), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), today issued a statement on Biogen Inc.'s decision to discontinue its global Phase 3 trials of aducanunab in Alzheimer's disease.Neurotrope CEO, Dr. Charles Ryan, said in a statement, "We are deeply saddened to hear the news that Biogen and Eisai's efforts have fallen short.
