Nucor (ticker: NUE) is buying all of C.H.I. Overhead, according to a statement . The transaction is expected to close in June, executives on a call announcing the deal said. The Arthur, Illinois-based C.H.I. is known for making overhead garage doors for the commercial and residential market. It also manufactures rolling steel and rubber doors for commercial and industrial customers. C.H.I. employs 800 employees. C.H.I.'s senior management will continue to lead the company, a second statement said. Shares of KKR were down 63 cents to close at $50.94 Monday. Nucor's (NUE) stock dropped more than 3% to end at $119.75. KKR acquired C.H.I. Overhead in 2015. The enterprise value of the transaction was more than $600 million, a person familiar with the situation said. KKR and its investors will make 10 times their money with the sale to Nucor, the statement said.
