Nvidia earnings: The Turing test has arrived When Nvidia Corp. launches new gaming cards, it tends to be a huge deal for gamers and the company’s finances. But this time may be different. Nvidia launched new products last quarter with graphics-processing units based on its new Turing architecture, which will replace the most financially lucrative generation GPUs of the company’s long history, known as Pascal. When the company releases fiscal third-quarter earnings after the market closes Thursday, it will be the first glimpse at how these products are selling early in their life — a Turing test, if you will.
