Its newly unveiled RTX 2080 Ti packs all kinds of bleeding edge tech to bring new levels of realism to lighting in games. Nvidia's Founders Edition is up for pre-order now, and it will cost early adopters $1199. Puzzling then, that the card can't even hit 60FPS while running at 1080p resolution. PCGamesN got their hands on a build of Shadow of the Tomb Raider at Gamescom, and Nvidia allowed them to capture footage at 1080p/60. They traversed through an outdoor daytime level during their playtime, and observed the framerate fluctuating between 33 FPS and 48 FPS with ray tracing on.
