Summary The most recent quarterly results saw overall gross margins slip 22% and EBITDA actually fell year over year. However, the results were primarily affected by a short-term event outside of management's control: a volcanic eruption in Hawaii. So it's a short-term blip. Investors should consider management's long-term track record of strong gross margins. As a result, Ormat remains a leading and attractive clean and renewable energy producer.
