NEW HARTFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PAR) today announced that the U.S. Navy has awarded its subsidiary, Rome Research Corporation (RRC), a five-year $7.3 million contract. The award calls for RRC to provide 24/7/365 operation and maintenance support of the Naval Radio Transmitter Facility (NRTF) Aguada, Puerto Rico and its Low Frequency (LF) Fixed Submarine Broadcasting System (FSBS) with periods of performance from September, 2018 – August 2023. The FSBS provides strategic and tactical communications to U.S. and allied submarine forces in the Atlantic.
